Who can be in the study?

• Waitlisted for a kidney-only transplant
• No available living kidney donor
• Able to travel to study site for routine and post-transplant visits and study visits
• Age 18-70 years

Who can't be in the study?

• Have chronic liver disease
• Have primary kidney disease with a high chance of coming back rapidly after transplant
• Pregnant or nursing (lactating) women
